1. How do I pay my application fee?

Pay your application fee of USD 110 to the University of Ghana’s foreign account. The details are as follows:

2. When is the deadline for applications?

The deadline for application is the fourth week in June for the first (fall) semester and second week in November for the second (spring) semester.

3. What are the requirements for application?

In order to be considered for admission, prospective students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, have a minimum of two semester’s transcripts, have their application endorsed by the International Office of their home institution and must not be in their final semester.

4. What documents do I need for application?

To apply, you will need the application form, two passport sized photos, transcript or academic records of two completed semesters at your home institution and a scanned copy of your application proof of payment.

5. How many semesters can I apply for

You can apply for either a semester or two. However, you can apply for an extension after each semester.


1. How do I register for courses?

PCourses are registered online. Registration is usually held after orientation sessions. Staff of International Programmes (IPO) will assist you with the process. There is also a manual process to be completed.

2. Can I change courses?

Yes, after registration there will be a period for adding and dropping of courses, after which no further changes can be made.
